Learning in Action

Making Our Mark

As part of their art, Year 1 and 2 have been learning about line and texture as well as using different media to create their own art work. The effects that they have created are amazing!

Colour SPLASH!

As part of their art focus, Year 1 and 2 have been exploring colour mixing through paint play. They have used a range of tools and worked on different surfaces. They have created paintings inspired by Clarice Cliff and Jasper Johns.

Save the African Elephants

As part of our topic on Africa, the children decided they wanted to help save the African elephants. They decided to write a letter to persuade Mr. Piper to donate some money to the WWF to help save the elephants. Our letters were very persuasive and Mr Piper agreed! We can’t wait to find out how the money is helping them.
