To enable access to more opportunities to Physical activities for children, the school uses money from the Sports premium.

What is the Sports Premium?

The government has provided additional funding of £150 million per annum for academic years 2013 to 2014 and 2014 to 2015 to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding is provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport, and will see money going directly to primary school headteachers.

The sports funding can only be spent on improving the quality of provision of sport and PE in school for all children.
