PRAYER SPACE

Header Clouds

A “Place” where all children (& Staff) can explore their faith in a safe, creative and interactive way. A “Place or Space” where we can ask God BIG questions about life, ourselves, others, or our planet.

It’s a place  for personal reflection. What do I think? Feel? Understand? About God and my Faith? What’s bothering me? Will God listen to me? Can He help?

In Prayer Space we can speak to God in lots of different ways by…

Making things, talking, asking, thinking, folding, shaking, floating, listening, writing, ripping, watching, building, pegging, posting…

We have used…

Pens, paper, post-it-notes, water, blu-tac, sellotape, string, computers, Treasure Chest, beads, Sparkling Jars, Globes, Newspapers, picnic rugs and cushions.

Our special space for our “Prayer Space” is at the back of Yr 5 & 6 Classroom, but we have also used the Hall, Outdoor Reflective Area and The Hill!

This term we have been thinking about “Change”. How does it affect me? Does it make me happy? What does God say about change? What changes affect the world we live in? What changes make me feel sad? How can God help me when things change in my life?

Prayer Space…

A time to THINK…to ASK…and to DO.

Prayer Space is run EVERY Thursday lunchtime by Debbie Hird.
