Mrs. Wade, our special helper who listens to our children read, told Mr. Smith of the wonderful time she had spent with one particular young man in Y4. She commented on how enthusiastic and polite he was. That can only mean one thing… time for a headteacher’s award! #maryscommunity See MoreSee Less

This just in! On the 9th October, St. Mary’s will play host to Matt Vickers MP. He will have a tour of the school, meet the children and answer their questions. This will be a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about democracy and how the government of our country works. #maryspersonaldevelopment See MoreSee Less

Sadly, They won’t learn it from him 😂

Great idea.

Time to dust off your cake trays and fire up the oven! Do you think you’re the next Mary Berry? Are your bakes the talk of the village? Then you need to enter the ‘St. Mary’s Victoria Sponge Bake Off!’

As part of the Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26th September, we would like to invite children, parents and grandparents to bake their very best Victoria Sponge Cake. Entires must be in no later than the morning of the 26th.

All bakes will be judged by St. Mary’s answer to Paul and Pru : Mr. Smith and Ms. Saunderson Darkes!

IMPORTANT NOTE: As we have children in school with allergies to nuts and pineapple, all cakes baked MUST be nut and pineapple free. All entries must be clearly labelled with a list of ingredients.

All after school clubs are now up and running. If you would like your child to attend an after school club, please contact the school office for further details.
